Her auto license tag signals the
warning: "Will Sue", and although it is only intended as a conversation piece,
it illustrates Cha'Ron's no-nonsense approach to life. She believes in her
clients' bottom-line and is a natural advocate for homeownership. As one who
has pulled herself through formidable odds to realize her dreams, Cha'Ron
knows that owning a home is more than just an American Dream, it's a victory
dance.
Born and raised in
South Philadelphia, Cha'Ron was thrust into independence when, at the age of
sixteen, her mom became ill and was no longer able to take care of her. It was
at that time she made a conscious decision to "go all the way" in school and
in life. After earning her Associates Degree from The Community College of
Philadelphia and her Bachelor's Degree at St. Joseph's University, Cha'Ron
went on to get her Master's Degree where she maintained a 3.8 GPA while
working a full-time corporate position and managing her three income-producing
properties. She graduated from Thomas Cooley Law School in
Lansing, Michigan in the top 25% of her class.
Cha'Ron was first drawn to real
estate because it offered realistic financial security. She knew early on that
she needed to secure herself financially in order to be successful in life so
she looked to real estate to provide that security. With this motivation in
mind, she purchased her first home in 1997 and converted it into a duplex to
bring in extra income. Within two years, Cha'Ron purchased three additional
properties and realized there were many hidden treasures in real estate.
In the corporate world, Cha'Ron
worked as a Trust Advisor at Wachovia National Bank where she supplemented her
knowledge of real estate with the day-to-day activities on the job. Her duties
included reviewing, executing, and terminating wills, commercial, and personal
trust agreements in accordance with the governing legal instrument. A major
portion of her work day was spent buying and selling mutual funds, real
estate, publicly, and privately held stocks, bonds and other assets on behalf
of the trust and/or beneficiaries. During this time, she completed her PA
salesperson license requirements and began working as a REALTOR® with Century
21 Absolute Realty in Springfield, PA.
In 2004, Cha'Ron formed Connect
Properties, LLC, an investment partnership aimed at flipping and managing
properties, with a colleague. As Partner, Cha'Ron learned how to weed through
tax and government documents to effectively locate "hidden treasures" for her
clients. Although she left the partnership the following year to attend law
school and pursue a career as a REALTOR® , her mission was simple: to
use her legal and REALTOR® experience to help others secure the goal of
homeownership.
Cha’Ron’s Georgia Real
Estate license is held at Perfect Properties Realty.
